WHAT IS IT?  The Gut Check 5k – All Terrain Run is part trail, sometimes mud run with a with a healthy dose of Mother Nature’s obstacles mixed in for fun. You’ll also find some hills, hollers, streams and possibly a fun slip-n-slide along the way.

WHY?  Growing up on a farm in the Midwest, I spent hours running through the hills and hollers, waking the streams and enjoying the natural beauty of Mother Nature. Our goal is to give you a challenging but enjoyable experience in the great outdoors while doing the same with a group of fun loving people. Oh, and even though it is called a 5K, each event could either be a bit shorter or longer depending on the terrain. Just have fun and don’t sweat the distance!

WHY THESE LOCATIONS?  As big fans of leading a healthy lifestyle with Gut Check Fitness, we’re also big fans of wine as well. Our goal is to showcase some of the Nation’s up and coming wine regions as well as expose as many people as possible to the amazing wineries in each area. We are kicking it off in the Ramona, CA wine region then onto Fredericksburg, TX and finally to the Central Illinois wine area. Each event is held on beautiful rural land followed by world class wine tasting and good times afterwards.

Everyone can do it as long as you have the drive and determination to keep going, not quit and in the words of Joe Dirt, “keep on keeping’ on.” Be sure to grab your family, friends, co-workers and come join us for a one of the most enjoyable events around your area.
