About the event
The Big Horse 5K - All Terrain Run is part trail and mud run with a healthy dose of Mother Nature’s obstacles mixed in for fun. You’ll also find some hills, hollers, streams, ponds and new and improved EPIC slip-n-slides. Everyone can do it as long as you have the drive and determination to keep going, not quit and in the words of Joe Dirt, “keep on keepin’ on.“ Be sure to grab your family, friends, coworkers and come join us for one of the most enjoyable events in Central Illinois on the amazing Big Horse Vineyards.

5K-Competitive (Individuals)
This heat is for all of you competitive athletes out there that really want to get after it and race the course! Only sign up for this heat if you think you have what it takes to be King or Queen of the all terrain. *If you are between the ages of 9-12 - we ask that you have a parent/guardian run with you the entire time, due to the terrain.

5K-Fun Run
This heat is for all of you athletes and weekend warriors out there that are more interested in having fun along the way than reaching the podium. Teams need to be at least 3 or more. *If you are between the ages of 9-12 - we ask that you have a parent/guardian run with you the entire time, due to the terrain.

You will drink a beer and run 400 meters x 4 rounds to make up the mile course. Must be 21 to participate. There is an Individual category and a Team category. (Teams must have 2-4 members) *MUST be 21 or older

MAKE A DIFFERENCE. OURLOCAL FOOTBALL TEAM NEEDS YOUR HELP. If you live in Central Illinois, we could really use your help as we try to raise $$ donations for the local tri-city football team, the LVC Miners (Lewistown, Valley & Cuba). They need help getting food, water, Gatorade & other supplies for their upcoming games. Our plan is to donate a potion of the race fees, the raffle & proceeds from the Charity Beer Mile afterwards as well.
